M - Civil Union Visa
If you have an ongoing registered civil union or common Law marriage - UniΓ³n Marital de Hecho - for more than a year with a Colombian national, you are eligible to apply for the Colombian civil union visa.
M - Employee Visa
You are eligible for this visa if you have a job offer or employment contract with a Colombian company and the company is willing to sponsor your application.
M - Founder or shareholder Visa
If you incorporate a company in Colombia or buy shares in an existing Colombian company equivalent to at least 100 minimum wages, you can be eligible for this visa.
M - Independent professional Visa
Foreigners aspiring to practice a regulated profession or, exceptionally, an unregulated activity, provided that the activity is of interest to the country.

You are eligible for this visa if you receive a monthly pension from your home country's government amounting to at least $4,270,500 Colombian Pesos (COP) per month (2024).

If you have held one or more Migrant (M) visas for the legally required duration, you may apply for a Resident visa based on accumulated time.
V - Business Visa
To carry out business activities, market research, direct investment plans or procedures, and the establishment of a commercial company, negotiation, contract signing, or commercial representation. This visa is intended for foreigners of nationalities that are not exempt from a visa for short visits, as established by Resolution, or those who, despite being exempt from a short-duration visa, require a longer stay in the country.
V - Digital Nomad Visa Visa
If you are a remote worker, entrepreneur, freelance or employee from any of the countries exempt from the short-stay visa for Colombia, you are eligible to apply for this visa.
V - Rentier (Annuity) Visa
If you receive a periodic and variable income from a legal source and are able to demonstrate it, you are eligible for this visa. For example, if you have properties rented and receive monthly a rent, you can apply for this visa.
V - Student Visa
If you enroll in an educational program with an education institute recognized by the Colombian government, you are eligible to apply for this visa.
